Ok, so maybe it's NOT denial to keep my life jacket out all year? This picture was taken on the Shiawassee River, right here in Michigan!
I've heard of these winter paddlers, but never thought of joining their ranks. It's just a matter of figuing out how to get in the boat without getting your feet wet, I suppose.
I was kayaking just a few short weeks ago, and really enjoyed a cool-weather paddle. Hmmm, this is making me re-think this as a summer sport . . .
